WHAT SHE LOVES MOST ABOUT KI
I love getting to show our friends with special needs how similar we really are — how we feel the same things, have the same emotions, and each carry powerful stories. Helping them recognize their value, their purpose, and the truth of who God made them to be is the greatest joy. Nothing beats watching someone realize, “I belong here.”
PERFECT SLOW MORNING
I love starting the day with quiet time — reading my Bible, a book on faith or theology, or working through a Bible study with an amazing scented candle burning in the background. (Blue Volcano is my favorite.) I could stay in that space for hours.
WHAT FILLS HER UP
A good workout. It gives my brain a break and lets me be physically active. I love challenging myself, pushing through something hard, and reminding myself that I’m strong. Afterward I’m more energized, less stressed, and better able to show up for my kids and for Kingdom Inclusion.
COFFEE ORDER
An iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso from Starbucks.

WHAT SHE LOVES MOST ABOUT KI
I am most excited about working with KI because it recognizes the importance of helping individuals with disabilities grow in their faith and experience a true sense of belonging. I appreciate that KI creates an environment where meaningful friendships can develop between participants, volunteers, and staff. Being part of a team that supports, encourages, and builds community is something I find incredibly rewarding.
PERFECT SLOW MORNING
I enjoy my quiet time reading my daily devotional and scripture, practicing yoga/pilates, and having a cup of tea or coffee. My morning routine keeps me focused and rested.
WHAT FILLS HER UP
Taking a walk, listening to music, dancing in the kitchen or working in my garden.
COFFEE ORDER
I like chai tea with oat milk or a decaf coffee (I know what's the point?) with oatmilk

WHAT SHE LOVES MOST ABOUT KI
I love that I get to help create spaces for people with disabilities to experience the kingdom of God! My daughter, born in 2024 and diagnosed with Down syndrome and SMA, has made me even more passionate about this work. The church should be a place where people of all abilities are welcome, comfortable and included! I especially enjoy the behind the scenes, administrative tasks I get to do for Kingdom Inclusion.
PERFECT SLOW MORNING
Drink coffee, have quiet time with God, read a good book written in the 1800s, and go on a walk.
WHAT FILLS HER UP
Time spent with family or friends and watching sports, especially football.
COFFEE ORDER
Unsweet iced tea, diet Dr. Pepper, or an Americano coffee.

WHAT SHE LOVES MOST ABOUT KI
I love creating connection and finding ways to celebrate both the big and small moments. I’m excited to use the gifts God has given me to add personal touches that help people feel seen, valued, and special.
PERFECT SLOW MORNING
A slow morning for me is coffee on the front porch with my dog, Sweetie, enjoying the quiet and the beauty of God’s creation. I love reflecting on the season I’m in and spending time in thankful prayer. Bonus points if the kids make their own breakfast!
WHAT FILLS HER UP
Travel always fills me up and gives me a fresh perspective. I love the idea that “the more we see, the less we know.” Every time I travel, I learn something new and see God’s hand in different people, places, and cultures. And if I get to choose the destination, New York City will always be my favorite!
COFFEE ORDER
A hot chai tea latte with a shot of espresso, unless it’s Christmas time. Then it’s definitely a peppermint mocha!
