What are you most excited about in your role at Kingdom Inclusion?
I love getting to show our friends with special needs how similar we really are — how we feel the same things, have the same emotions, and each carry powerful stories. Helping them recognize their value, their purpose, and the truth of who God made them to be is the greatest joy. Nothing beats watching someone realize, “I belong here.”
What’s your favorite way to spend a slow morning?
I love starting the day with quiet time — reading my Bible, a book on faith or theology, or working through a Bible study with an amazing scented candle burning in the background. (Blue Volcano is my favorite.) I could stay in that space for hours.
What’s something that fills you up or helps you reset?
A good workout. It gives my brain a break and lets me be physically active. I love challenging myself, pushing through something hard, and reminding myself that I’m strong. Afterward I’m more energized, less stressed, and better able to show up for my kids and for Kingdom Inclusion.
What’s your go-to coffee or drink order?
An iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso from Starbucks.

What are you most excited about in your role at Kingdom Inclusion?
I love that I get to help create spaces for people with disabilities to experience the kingdom of God! My daughter, born in 2024 and diagnosed with Down syndrome and SMA, has made me even more passionate about this work. The church should be a place where people of all abilities are welcome, comfortable and included! I especially enjoy the behind the scenes, administrative tasks I get to do for Kingdom Inclusion.
What’s your favorite way to spend a slow morning?
Drink coffee, have quiet time with God, read a good book written in the 1800s, and go on a walk.
What’s something that fills you up or helps you reset?
Time spent with family or friends and watching sports, especially football.
What’s your go-to coffee or drink order?
Unsweet iced tea, diet Dr. Pepper, or an Americano coffee.

I’m most excited about meeting more families impacted by special needs and finding more volunteers to take part in our events. As we grow as an organization, I’m excited to teach more people about Kingdom Inclusion and spread the word not only about all the inspiring people with special needs but also how we can share God’s love through all of them.
