  • Brief description

    The Volunteer Coordinator builds and sustains a healthy, well-equipped volunteer community across Kingdom Inclusion programs. This role leads volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training implementation, scheduling, and ongoing care to ensure volunteers are confident, supported, and retained.

    This position plays a key role in supporting program execution, including regular participation in evening events and training sessions.

    The coordinator also helps develop and maintain systems to support future growth and expansion.

    Reports to: Executive Director
    Hours: 15–20 hours/week (additional hours during peak seasons)
    Compensation: Starting at $20/hour
    Schedule: Flexible, with required availability for evening events and trainings

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers across all programs and events

    • Implement and maintain volunteer training and onboarding systems

    • Coordinate volunteer scheduling and ensure appropriate coverage

    • Foster a culture where volunteers feel valued, connected, and supported

    • Maintain volunteer systems and processes to support growth and expansion 

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong relational and interpersonal leadership skills

    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

    • Clear, consistent communication skills

    • Proficiency with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

    • Ability to research other organizations and programs to identify best practices

    • Ability to use tools like ChatGPT to support planning, communication, and problem-solving

    • Comfortable building and improving systems

  • Brief description

    The Communications Coordinator is responsible for executing clear, consistent communication across Kingdom Inclusion audiences, including volunteers, families, and donors. This role ensures messaging is timely, aligned, and reflective of the organization’s voice and mission.

    Structure 

    Part-time, flexible hours (~5 hours/week on average; up to 10 during peak seasons)
    Contractor role

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and send regular email communications (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)

    • Support messaging, content development, and basic branding across communications

    • Assist with promotions, campaigns, and key initiatives

    • Ensure communication is clear, consistent, and aligned across all audiences 

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong writing and communication skills

    • Ability to think critically and contribute to messaging and content development

    • Experience with email platforms (e.g., Constant Contact) and Canva

    • Proficiency with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

    • Ability to use tools like ChatGPT to draft and refine content

    • Organized, reliable, and able to manage deadlines independently

  • Brief description

    The Grant Writer supports Kingdom Inclusion’s growth by identifying, writing, and submitting grant opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and programs. This role plays a key part in securing funding to expand services and increase impact.

    Structure 

    Project-based contractor role

    Flexible hours based on grant deadlines and opportunities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with Kingdom Inclusion’s mission and programs

    • Write and submit compelling, clear, and accurate grant applications

    • Collaborate with leadership to gather program details, data, and impact stories

    • Track deadlines, submissions, and follow-up requirements

    • Support reporting needs for awarded grants as needed

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail

    • Experience researching and writing grant applications (nonprofit experience preferred)

    • Ability to translate program impact into compelling funding proposals

    • Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines

    • Proficiency with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

    • Ability to use tools like ChatGPT to support research and drafting

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently
